It’s been quite a while since I did a weight loss Goal update. That’s entirely on me. Between being crazy busy and still trying to get over Bronchitis, I’ve not done much posting, writing or training in general. STILL not over the Bronchitis either. Every time I think I have it licked, it comes back.
The weight loss is going OK. Not as great as I would like though. I’m down to 240.9 pounds which is several pounds behind where I wanted to be at this point. On the other hand, I am down 19.1 pounds from the high of 260 in early October last year. I’m down about 14 pounds, give or take, since I started chronicling this process. Neither number is anything to sneeze at.
So, progress is definitely there and I’m very pleased with that. Now I have two major milestones to get past. First is 240 pounds. That has been a floor for me before. I’ve dipped under briefly and gone back up. With the consistent losses I’ve been hitting, I should make it under 240 at the next weigh-in or the one after that at the latest.
The next milestone to get back to my morning routine. I let it slide a little when my back pain started, which is still bothering too. I let it go entirely when the Bronchitis hit. I slept way more than normal as my body tried to get better. Heck, for at least 2 plus weeks I got some great sleep at night! No waking up or being restless.
This week I’m going back to getting up earlier by 15 minute increments each week until I get back to a 6am wake up time. That will let me exercise 30 minutes before showering and getting dressed for the day. It also will give me enough time to get in 30-60 minutes of writing each morning.
